Sujal Lohana: Building a Better Blood Donor–Seeker App
Sujal Lohana, Information Technology Intern at Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Building a Better Blood Donor–Seeker App
As part of my Summer Social Internship Program (SSIP) 2026 at Alkhidmat Karachi, our team is working on a Blood Response System to make it easier to connect blood donors with people who urgently need blood.
Our sessions are being conducted by Talha Shahid and Hamas Malik who are guiding us throughout this project and helping us understand the problem from a user-centered perspective.
I’m working on this project with my group members Muhammad Bilal Jamal, Mushtaqe Ali, and Ashvin Kumar.
Through our user interviews and research, we identified several challenges people face when arranging blood during emergencies.
Now, we want to improve our Blood Donor–Seeker App by adding features that are genuinely useful for both donors and seekers.
We would love to hear your opinion!
Your feedback will help us better understand real user needs and build a more effective solution.”
