Kenneth Nollet: Building the Future of Transfusion Laboratory Science
Kenneth Nollet, Deputy Director at Global Exchange Center, Fukushima Medical University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Careers? Clinical laboratory science, including transfusion medicine, has a noble history, and a bright future.
In a global review of best practices in Argentina, Australia, Japan, Thailand, and the United States, practioners shared their expertise on the education and professionalization of transfusion laboratory staff.
Transfusion and Apheresis Science is a subscription-based academic journal, but Elsevier gives authors a shareable link to their articles prior to the official (print) publication date. So, between now and October, Emeritus Professor Hitoshi Ohto and I can grant online access – including downloadable PDFs – to 3 of 7 articles that comprise a special theme section as follows:
‘Editorial: This issue’s theme section on the education and professionalization of transfusion laboratory staff’
‘Education and professionalization of transfusion laboratory staff: A global review of best practices in Argentina, Australia, Japan, Thailand, and the United States’
‘Best practices adopted and adapted in Japan to promote laboratory technologists as professionals in transfusion medicine’
Offical permission from Elsevier: ‘We encourage you to use this Share Link to download a copy of the article for your own archive. The URL is also a quick and easy way to share your work with colleagues, co-authors and friends. And you are welcome to add the Share Link to your homepage or social media profiles, such as Facebook and Twitter.’ ”
