Stijn Wigerinck, Resident at KU Leuven Faculty of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and Peter Vandenberghe co-authored, published in European Journal of Haematology, adding:
“Excited to share our newly published review in the European Journal of Haematology: ‘Eosinophilia and Hypereosinophilia: A Practical Approach to Navigating a Broad Differential Diagnosis.’
We provide a practical overview of eosinophilia and hypereosinophilia, from eosinophil biology and common secondary causes to the increasingly complex landscape of clonal eosinophilic disorders and targeted therapies.
A particular focus is placed on a structured diagnostic approach and on recent molecular developments that are reshaping the classification and work-up of these disorders.
