Susanne Lager: Isthmin-2 Emerges as an Early Predictor of Pregnancy Complications

Susanne Lager, Deputy Director at Centre for Reproductive Biology in Uppsala (CRU), shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Nature Medicine, adding:

“Isthmin-2 is a first-trimester predictor of preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction, new publication today in Nature Medicine.

Study led by researchers at the University of Cambridge including Ruoyu Miao, Irving Aye, Ulla Sovio, Sungsam Gong, Paul Kirk, Steve Charnock-Jones and Gordon Smith.

Findings verified in the Swedish pregnancy cohort IMPACT Anna-Karin Wikström, Lina Bergman, Ylva Carlsson, Stefan Hansson, Anna Sandström, Alice Zancanaro, Marius Kublickas, Peter Conner, Peter Lindgren, Anders Larsson.”
