Aaron Paul Kithcart: Connecting Science and Collaboration in Nagasaki

Aaron Paul Kithcart, Senior Medical Director in Translational and Clinical Sciences of Hematology at Regeneron, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“This weekend, I was in Nagasaki for the Japan College of Cardiology meeting.

It was a productive trip and a great opportunity to connect in person with investigators and colleagues participating in our FXI studies in atrial fibrillation and peripheral artery disease.

Beyond the scientific discussions, I really enjoyed learning more about Nagasaki and its unique place in Japanese history.

For centuries, Nagasaki served as Japan’s sole trading port open to foreign countries, making it an important gateway for international exchange and the exchange of ideas.

It was a great visit all around, and I’m grateful to all of the investigators and colleagues who took the time to meet, share their insights, and advance our work together.

Looking forward to many more years of collaboration and continuing the important work we are doing together in thrombosis.”
