How to Manage Hemoglobin SC Disease Across the Lifespan? – EHA
European Hematology Association, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by David C. Rees et al, published in HemaSphere Journal, adding:
“How should hemoglobin SC (HbSC) disease be managed across different stages of life?
While HbSC is the second most common form of sickle cell disease, dedicated guidance has historically been limited. EHA‘s new guideline brings together expert recommendations to support the care of both children and adults living with the condition.
The publication also highlights important evidence gaps and areas where further research is needed to improve patient outcomes.”
