What New U.S. Data Reveal About GT – Glanzmann’s Research Foundation
Glanzmann’s Research Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A new U.S. study is giving us a bigger picture of the Glanzmann Thrombasthenia community.
Researchers identified 1,059 people with GT in a large U.S. healthcare database, suggesting GT may be more common than previously recognized.
As awareness, diagnosis, and healthcare data improve, we are getting a clearer picture of how many people are living with GT.
These growing numbers further highlight the importance of continuing to push GT gene therapy research toward clinical trials.”
