Chepsy C Philip: Learning from a Legend in Transplant Medicine
Chepsy C Philip, Deputy Director, Professor and Lead Consultant at Believers Church Medical College Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Dr Rainer Storb is truly a giant in bone marrow transplantation —and yet remains remarkably grounded, generous, and deeply committed to making transplant safer and more accessible.
Was fortunate to be part of his team during a visiting fellowship WHI CCC Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Seattle. His insights have profoundly shaped how we have built and refined our transplant program at Believers Church Medical College Hospital.
It is fitting that American Society of Hematology honored him with the Distinguished Wallace H. Coulter Award for Lifetime Achievement at the ASH Annual Congress in Orlando.
Thank you, Dr. Rainer Storb, for continuing to share your wisdom and for helping make transplantation possible without barriers.
Featured here with Brenda Sandmaier another legend whose work continues to shape practices worldwide .
Another post for another day ..”
