Flávio Augusto Naoum: Discussing Digital Morphology and the Burden of Anemia in Myelofibrosis at HEMO 2026
Flávio Augusto Naoum, Clinical Director of Academy of Science and Technology, Medical Director at Naoum Institute of Hematology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I had the satisfaction and honor of participating, as a speaker and moderator, in HEMO 2026 – Brazilian Congress of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy, promoted by ABHH Oficial, held between October 28 and 31 in Rio de Janeiro.
One of the most important scientific meetings in the specialty, the congress brought together great names in national and international Hematology.
In this edition, I had the opportunity to contribute to two important moments of the scientific program:
Digital Morphology of Peripherial Blood and Myelogram – Roudtable Moderation
It was a great pleasure to moderate a discussion on the advances in digital morphology and its applications in the analysis of peripheral blood and myelogram.
Myelofibrosis: Impacts of Anemia and Transfusion Dependence – Lecture
I also had the opportunity to present a lecture on one of the most relevant aspects of the clinical and prognostic approach to patients with myelofibrosis: the impacts of anemia and transfusion dependence.
I thank ABHH and GSK for the invitation and the opportunity to actively participate in this scientific program, sharing knowledge and, above all, learning from so many colleagues and specialists who contribute daily to the development of Hematology.”
