Jecko Thachil: Excluding Underlying Hematological Conditions in Young Stroke Patients
Jecko Thachil, Consultant Haematologist at the NHS, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleague co-authored, adding:
“Haematologists are often consulted when young individuals develop ischaemic stroke to exclude any underlying haematological conditions which may have contributed.
We discuss this scenario in the JTH review.”
