Michael Cahillane: Latest Transfusion Medicine Research Takes Center Stage at ISBT Congress
Michael Cahillane, Senior Research Scientist at Welsh Blood Service, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A fantastic few days at the ISBT International Congress in Kuala Lumpur!
I was proud to represent the Welsh Blood Service and share some of our work on the potential of reduced-dose pooled platelet concentrates, alongside a few poster presentations.
The congress was a great opportunity to learn about the latest developments across transfusion medicine, reconnect with familiar faces, make new global connections and exchange ideas with peers from around the world.
A huge thank you to the organizers for their hospitality and to everyone who took the time to chat and share knowledge and experiences, which we can hopefully follow up on.
Until next time⦠hopefully!”
