”Von Willebrand disease is the most common inherited bleeding disorder — yet on a routine coag panel, it’s often the easiest one to miss.
A normal PT, a borderline aPTT, and a patient with a lifetime of nosebleeds, easy bruising, or heavy periods that nobody ever connected.”
