Rishiraj Sinha, Senior Resident, Blood Banking at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn, about his recent article, adding:
”Honoured to share my Letter to the Editor in Transfusion Clinique et Biologique on moving ‘Beyond checklist-based assessments toward digitally enabled quality ecosystems for blood donation drives.’
The letter emphasizes integration of donor platforms with hemovigilance systems, AI-enabled analytics, and continuous quality improvement frameworks to strengthen donor safety, enhance donor experience, and support Patient Blood Management (PBM) through reliable donor pools and may help align operational efficiency with patient-centered transfusion outcomes.
Strengthening donor ecosystems is foundational to donor recruitment, donor retention on ground resulting in strengthening PBM and thus maintaining the safe, healthy blood donor pools.”
