Rucha Patil: Key Scientific and Collaborative Moments at WFH 2026
Rucha Patil, Scientist at Department of Haemostasis and Thrombosis, ICMR- National Institute of Immunohaematology, shared on LinkedIn:
“WFH Congress 2026 | Kuala Lumpur | 19–22 April
Great science, but the real highlight—networking that turns into action.
Key moments:
- Novo Nordisk Haemophilia and Haemoglobinopathies Foundation session on scaling point-of-care testing across countries
- Our final RCT results on low-dose Emicizumab presented by Dr. Chandrakala Shanmukhaiah – highlighting dose optimization for LMICs (with our team Shubhranshu S. Mohanty elected in MSK committee and Dr Kirti Patil)
- New collaborations and project ideas taking shape
- Proud to see Hemophilia Federation (India) and Dr. Neeraj Sidharthan team recognized with WFH awards.
And of course, the best part—reconnecting with mentors and friends who continue to inspire: Alok Srivastava, Sukesh Nair, Steve Kitchen, Annette Bowyer, Mbunya.S.Misiani, Assad Haffar, Jay Martin, Liane Khoo, Sara Motka, Joseph John, Jessie Gan, Scrum Master, Harshal Kale.
Special thanks to Akangkokla Namo and Dr. Heena Tabassum for making the conference both impactful and enjoyable.
Looking forward to what these collaborations evolve into.
