[Poll below]
Venous Thromboembolism (VTE), including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), is a leading cause of preventable hospital death worldwide.
Despite clear clinical guidelines, implementation of VTE prevention protocols can vary widely across institutions.
Understanding where we stand is the first step to improving patient safety.
We’re curious: Does your hospital have a formal VTE prevention protocol in place? Whether you’re in acute care, surgery, internal medicine or outpatient services, your insights matter.
Let’s shed light on current practices and gaps.
Vote in the poll below and feel free to share what’s working (or not) at your facility in the comments.”
