Hariharaprakash Radhakrishnan: What an Incredible Week It’s Been for Our Interventional Radiology Team
Hariharaprakash Radhakrishnan, Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital, shared on LinkedIn:
”What an incredible week it’s been for our Interventional Radiology team.
We managed three complex stroke cases, each involving tandem occlusions—the kind of vascular roadblocks that demand not only speed, but exceptional skill, coordination, and calm under pressure.
From the moment each patient arrived, the team moved with precision.
Rapid imaging. Immediate decision-making.
Seamless communication between neurology, anaesthesia, emergency and IR.
These cases aren’t easy. And three tandem occlusions in one week is no small feat.
They require advanced equipment, a deep understanding of cerebral vasculature, and a team that operates like a single, unified heartbeat.
And yet, case after case, we rose to the challenge—bringing blood flow back to the brain and giving each patient a fighting chance at recovery.
Here we are, proving once again that when seconds matter, we are more than ready – with Dr Samppathkumar Palanisamy at Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital, Coimbatore”
