This year’s Travelling Orator is Professor Emmanuel J Favaloro from NSW Health Pathology at Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
Professor Favaloro presented talks on the 100-year history of von Willebrand Disease, harmonisation in haemostasis diagnostics, as well as pre- and post-analytical issues related to diagnostic testing in haemostasis.
Thanks to the local organising committee led by Julian Peet, AIMS, and other speakers supporting the program including Paul Ellery (updates on the search for a defined disease association for tissue factor pathway inhibitor – TFPI) and Samantha Austin – AIMS APACE program.”
