ITP involves complex immune dysregulation through multiple mechanisms — including autoantibody-mediated platelet destruction, T cell cytotoxicity, complement activation, and impaired tolerance — with disease heterogeneity across patients pointing toward the need for individualized, mechanism-targeted therapeutic strategies.”
