”Excellent French review on the ENT manifestations of ANCA-associated vasculitides:
GPA
– hemorrhagic rhinitis, chronic nasal obstruction, possible presence of crusts; nasal septum perforation, complicated with “saddle-nose” deformity; sinus CT lesions, bone destruction +++
– chronic otitis media, mastoiditis, ear chondritis
– subglottic stenosis +++
– “strawberry-like” hypertrophy of gums
– mucosal ulcerations
– very important DDx: cocaine use, invasive fungal infections, NK/T lymphoma, nasal type, hashtag#sarcoidosis, hashtag#relapsingpolychondritis, IgG4-RD
EGPA
– nasal polyposis ++, non-destructive lesions on sinus CT
– recurrent otitis”
