”Call for applications for a PhD in immunology
We are recruiting a PhD student for a research project on ANCA-associated vasculitis and the study of the role of monocytes and macrophages in inflammation and kidney damage.
Location
The work will be carried out in the U970 laboratory located at PARCC (Paris Cardiovascular Research Center), in the immediate vicinity of the Georges Pompidou European Hospital.
Scientific project
The project will be based on a translational approach combining:
– analyses of human samples (peripheral blood and tissues),
– and a murine model of ANCA-associated vasculitis.
The aim is to better understand the immunopathological mechanisms involving monocytes and macrophages in systemic inflammation and kidney damage.
Required profile
– Master’s degree in immunology, biology, health biology, or a related field
– Interest in immunopathology, translational research, and experimental models
