”Management of Brain-Heart Multimorbidity: A Clinical Practice Guideline

Although brain and heart diseases share overlapping risk factors and frequently occur together, current cardiac and neurological clinical guidelines are generally produced in specialty silos.

The goal of this guideline, developed by a panel from the Canadian Cardiovascular Harmonized National Guideline Endeavour (C-CHANGE), is to expand current cardiovascular guidelines to include evidence from the neurological and mental health literature, with specific recommendations for professionals dealing with brain and heart comorbidities.”
