An incredible moment.
Not because the RISE UP study was on one of the biggest stages in hematology, but because of what it represented.
The first pivotal study of a new mechanism in Sickle Cell disease. The chance to help tell the story of a potential new treatment paradigm in sickle cell disease: PK activation.
There is immense gratitude for the patients, families, investigators, advocates, and colleagues who made this moment possible.
Progress in sickle cell disease belongs to all of them.
I am simply fortunate to be here while their story is told.”
