Maliheh Davari: Exploring CRISPR Activation for Hemophilia at ISTH 2026

Maliheh Davari, Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen’s University, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am thrilled to announce that I had the opportunity to present my study, ‘Targeted CRISPRa-Mediated Enhancement of Inverted F8 Exon 1–22 Fragment Expression in Hemophilic Canine Endothelial Cells’, at the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) 2026 Congress in Paris.

It was a great privilege to share our work with researchers and clinicians from around the world and to engage in valuable scientific discussions.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisor, Dr. David Lillicrap, for his invaluable mentorship, continuous guidance, and unwavering support throughout this project.

Presenting at ISTH has been an enriching experience, and I look forward to continuing this research and contributing to advances in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis.”
