Melissa Hollo: A Meaningful Step Forward for Women’s Health
Melissa Hollo, Director of Project Management at hc1 and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”A meaningful step forward for women’s health!
I’m encouraged to see a renewed national focus on women’s health research. The president’s October 19 executive order establishes a Women’s Health Division at the NIH and a White House Women’s Health Task Force.
As someone working at the intersection of clinical innovation and women’s health, I hope this translates into better research, earlier identification, and improved care across every stage of a woman’s life.
Maternal health is one critical area. Identifying and treating conditions like anemia during pregnancy can improve outcomes for mothers and potentially influence the long-term health of their children.
The goal is simple: turn research into meaningful changes in clinical practice and better outcomes for women everywhere.”
