Eve Justason: Presenting our Research on VWD and Women’s Health at the AHCDC Symposium
Eve Justason, MD Candidate at Dalhousie University, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Haemophilia journal, adding:
“I had a wonderful time attending the AHCDC Annual General Meeting and Scientific Symposium in Toronto with my colleague Anna Ishchuk, where we had the opportunity to present our undergraduate research project.
Our work, recently published in Haemophilia, is titled:
Determining the Impact of Combination Oral Contraceptives on Von Willebrand Factor and Factor VIII in Healthy Patients and Patients With Von Willebrand Disease: A Scoping Review and Meta‐Analysis.
This project explores an important intersection between women’s health, contraception, and bleeding disorders, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share our findings with clinicians and researchers in the hemophilia and inherited bleeding disorders community.
