”A landmark session on hemophilia and rare bleeding disorders at the National Academy of Medicine

Last week, the National Academy of Medicine hosted an outstanding public session dedicated to hemophilia and other rare bleeding disorders, bringing together clinical, translational, and therapeutic perspectives on a rapidly evolving field.

The session showcased major advances in patient management, innovative biology, gene therapy, and progress in rare disorders of hemostasis.

Scientific contributions included:

• Nanobodies and therapeutic antibodies: a revolution
Peter Lenting
• Gene therapy in hemophilia

• Advances in other rare hemostatic disorders
