Prolonged bleeding after minor procedures.
These symptoms are often considered in isolation, making pediatric VWD difficult to recognize early.’
A simple way to show collective symptoms rather than isolated incidents is by tracking them with the Microhealth app.

Overtime logs can present patterns that may go unnoticed if not tracked.

“Not every child with von Willebrand disease presents the same way.

Delayed diagnosis can postpone appropriate treatment and prolong the burden of bleeding symptoms.
We developed an educational activity in collaboration with The France Foundation to help pediatric hematology teams recognize abnormal bleeding patterns, improve diagnostic confidence, and individualize patient care.
