Robert Rebera: Understanding Homocysteine is Vital for Health
Robert Rebera, Licensed Home Inspector at Rebco Home Inspection Service, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Understanding homocysteine is vital for health.
When homocysteine levels exceed the normal range, it’s called hyperhomocysteinemia.
This condition is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular and nervous system issues, increasing the likelihood of heart attack, stroke, blood clots, and pregnancy complications.
Furthermore, elevated homocysteine is linked to cognitive decline and neurodegenerative disorders.
Monitoring and managing these levels are crucial for early detection and intervention, potentially mitigating the risk of serious health problems.”
