Shailaja Kota Amplifies World Inherited Blood Disorders Month and Global Action Network’s Call to Action
Shailaja Kota, DGM – Corporate Relations at Medicover Hospitals, shared Global Action Network for Sickle Cell and Other Inherited Blood Disorders’s post on LinkedIn:
“Some health journeys begin long before a person enters a hospital.
They begin with awareness.
This month, I’m reminded once again that healthcare must go beyond hospital walls.
Inherited blood disorders such as Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Disease and Hemophilia can impact not just individuals, but entire families.
What can make a difference is awareness, early diagnosis, timely medical care, compassion and continuous support for Global Action Network for Sickle Cell and Other Inherited Blood Disorders.
For me, community healthcare is not just about conducting an event or sharing information.
It is about taking the right knowledge to people, families, workplaces, educational institutions and communities-before a health challenge becomes a crisis.
I am grateful to support and amplify conversations that create greater understanding around inherited blood disorders.
Through Medicover Hospitals, I continue to believe in creating platforms where healthcare, education and community wellbeing come together.
My call to every one of us:
Talk about it.
Learn about it.
Share reliable information.
Encourage families to seek appropriate medical guidance and screening when advised.
One conversation can create awareness.
One informed family can inspire another.
And together, awareness can become a movement.
Because healthcare beyond hospital walls begins when each of us chooses to care, educate and act.”
