Sheharyar Raza: Applying AI to Accelerate Big Data Research in Transfusion Medicine
Sheharyar Raza, Transfusion Medicine Specialist and Data Scientist at University Health Network, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:
”Big Data and AI are mutually reinforcing technologies. Organizations building either capability need to consider both.
In this article for the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) journal, co-authors Ruchika Goel, Na Li et al discuss how AI can be applied to accelerate various steps in big data research pipelines in transfusion medicine. A key takeaway is that there is substantial untapped opportunity in all aspects of big data, with significant risks well worth the effort of solving them.”
