Sujan Sivasubramaniyam: Patient Voices Driving Real Change in Bleeding Disorders Care Worldwide
Sujan Sivasubramaniyam, Senior Director, Head of Global Patient Advocacy and Policy, Corporate and External Affairs at CSL, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Our partnership with World Federation of Hemophilia reinforces CSL’s purpose for all colleagues—one we share with WFH. Through this collaboration, we hear and learn directly from patient communities to co-create solutions that translate into meaningful improvements in care and outcomes for people with bleeding disorders worldwide.
Grateful for leaders like Dirk Hoheisel, that truly live the principles of patient advocacy, shaping a culture where listening and understanding local needs drives real change. Thank you to the many colleagues working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this partnership possible and impactful.”
Dirk Hoheisel, SVP and Head of Commercial, International, CSL, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I leave Morocco with a deep sense of respect – for patients, for clinicians, for patient organisations and for what partnership can achieve.
During our visit with the World Federation of Hemophilia Humanitarian Aid Programme, we saw how access to treatment, education and advocacy come together to turn hope into real progress.
These efforts not only address urgent needs but also help build more sustainable systems of care over time.
At CSL, we are committed to being one of the long-term partners in this journey and supporting the vital work of the WFH. Humanitarian aid is important – but ultimately, success means helping countries move towards sustainable, nationally supported care.
A sincere thank you to Sujan Sivasubramaniyam, our Global Head of Patient Advocacy, whose leadership ensures patients and their communities remain at the centre of our work.
Partnerships like this remind us that lasting progress starts with listening, learning and working together. We all have a role to play in improving access to care – through partnership, advocacy and education.”
