Maxime Dely: The Lifesaving Power of Plasma Donations
Maxime Dely, Sales and Application Specialist in Therapeutic Apheresis and Cell Therapy, shared a post onย LinkedIn:
”Plasma matters more than we think.
With this 3rd donation of the year, the goal of 10 donations in 2026 remains well on track.
Beyond the gesture itself, each donation helps collect valuable components used every day in medicine.
Among them, fibrinogen plays a central role: this protein is directly involved in blood clotting, transforming into fibrin, which is essential for forming the clot that helps stop bleeding.
Without sufficient fibrinogen, certain medical procedures become far more complex, especially in cases of surgery, trauma, or specific coagulation disorders.
Donating plasma means contributing directly to an essential care chain โ often invisible, yet vital for many patients.
A simple, regular, and meaningful contribution.”
