Omid Seidizadeh: Advancing Genomic Insights into Bleeding Disorders at ISTH 2026
Omid Seidizadeh, Research Leader of the A. Bianchi Bonomi Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a pleasure to attend the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) 2026 and meet many colleagues, collaborators, and scientists working across the fields of hemostasis and thrombosis.
During the meeting, I presented our data on whole-exome sequencing in patients with low von Willebrand factor and also had the opportunity to discuss our work on estimating the global and population prevalence of coagulation disorders using large-scale genomic databases at the ISTH SSC Omics session.
It was a great week of science, discussions, and new ideas, and I look forward to seeing how these conversations develop in the coming years.”
