Thomas Reiser Steps Down as ISTH Executive Director After 14+ Years of Leadership
Thomas Reiser, Executive Director of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), reposted from ISTH on LinkedIn:
”After more than 14 incredible years with the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), I have made the decision to step down as Executive Director at the end of this year.
Reflecting on this journey, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve such a remarkable organization and its vital global mission that I believe in so passionately.
Together with an extraordinary team, a caring and deeply committed Board and volunteers, and an inspiring global community, I am immensely proud of the impact we have achieved, the global collaborations we have fostered, and the impactful initiatives we have advanced that truly make a difference in people’s lives.
What has made this role most meaningful are the relationships with members, colleagues, partners, and peers around the world that have shaped me as a person and enabled both my own and our collective success.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
As I look ahead beyond the end of this year, I’m taking some time for rest and reflection and also to prepare for my next chapter.
I look forward to pursuing new opportunities where I will continue to be able to bring my global experience, knowledge, connections, and perspectives to create purposeful impact.
Here’s to new beginnings – with deep gratitude for the past 14+ years, and great anticipation for all that lies ahead.
Watch this space.”
Quoting International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH)‘s post:
