Jeffrey Hall: A Pivotal Moment to Protect Rhode Island Wildlife from Anticoagulant Rodenticides

“We are one vote away.
We find ourselves in a pivotal moment to protect RI wildlife from the catastrophic effects of anticoagulant rodenticides (ARs).
H7222 – critical legislation for protecting our raptors, other wildlife, and the environment – has been passed by the Senate and will now be placed on the House floor for a final vote on Wednesday, June 3rd.
Audubon has been working with both chambers of the General Assembly for the last 3 years to pass this bill.
Now they need to hear from you – their constituents!
Please reach out to your Representative ahead of Wednesday’s session and ensure that they are voting in support of H7222.
With the passage of this legislation, Rhode Island can lead by example on stronger wildlife protections and effective rodent management.
